Terms and Conditions
Last updated 9 October 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by VerdanTech Pty Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa, trading as Veratex Works (registration 2022/224559/07; office bearers: Dennis Kriel (director)), of The Willows Office Park, Unit 33-F3 Simon Vermooten Rd, Die Wilgers, Pretoria, 0184, which is also our address for the service of legal documents. Contact us at dennis@veratex.works or +27 79 309 3651. "We" and "us" in these terms mean Veratex Works.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply when you register for a free online webinar or book a paid in-person masterclass on this website. By registering or booking you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal information.
3. Bookings
- A masterclass booking paid by card is confirmed once PayFast confirms your payment. We then email your confirmation.
- A booking paid by EFT is confirmed once the payment reflects in our account. We hold your seat for 5 business days while we wait for it.
- Seats are limited and allocated in the order payments are confirmed.
- You must give accurate details. The name on the booking is the person who may attend, unless you transfer the seat as set out below.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are in South African rand, and are the prices shown when you book. A later price change does not affect a confirmed booking.
- Card payments are processed by PayFast. We never see or store your card details.
- For EFT, use the bank details and payment reference in the email we send you.
- We email you a receipt once your payment is confirmed.
- A discount code applies only to the masterclass it was issued for, one code per booking. It works while it is active and within the end date and number of uses shown when you apply it, and it has no cash value. The discounted price is the price of your booking: your receipt and any refund are for the amount you paid.
5. Cancellations, refunds and transfers
- Within 7 days of booking online you may cancel for any reason and get a full refund (your cooling-off right under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act), unless the masterclass has already taken place.
- After that: cancel 14 or more days before the event for a full refund, or 7 to 13 days before it for a 50% refund.
- Cancel less than 7 days before the event: no refund, but you may transfer your seat to a colleague at no charge.
- If the person booked cannot attend because of their death or hospitalisation, the full amount is refunded (Consumer Protection Act, section 17(5)).
- If we cancel the event, you receive a full refund. If we move it to another date, you may choose the new date or a full refund.
To use your cooling-off right, tell us by email within 7 days of booking; you do not have to give a reason. Refunds are paid within 30 days of confirming your cancellation. Our Refund Policy explains how to cancel or transfer.
6. Changes to an event
We may need to change the venue, time or programme of an event. If we make a significant change or postpone the event, we will tell you as soon as we can and you may choose a full refund instead.
7. Webinars
Webinars are free and online. They may be recorded and the recording shared with registered attendees. If you prefer not to appear in a recording, keep your camera and microphone off and use the chat or Q&A.
8. Promotions and competitions
From time to time we run promotions, such as discount codes for a masterclass (see section 4) and the webinar referral competition. A competition has its own rules, which are free to read before you take part: see the competition rules.
9. Course materials
Slides, templates and other materials remain our intellectual property. You may use them in your own business but may not resell them or share them publicly without our written permission.
10. Our responsibility to you
Our events are educational. We share practical methods and tools, but results depend on how they are applied, so we cannot guarantee specific business outcomes. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you in connection with a booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
11. Questions and complaints
Please contact us first at dennis@veratex.works and we will do our best to resolve any concern quickly. If we cannot resolve it, you may refer it to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (cgso.org.za) or the National Consumer Commission. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version you accepted when you booked applies to that booking. This is version 2026-10-09.
